Psc = primary school certificate.

Pdc = Primary dhakil certificate.

Pece = Primary Education completion Examination.

Jsc = Junior school certificate.

Jdc = Junior dhakil certificate.

Sss = Secondary school certificate.

Hsc = Higher Secondary certificate / Higher Secondaryschool certificate.

Ba = Bachelor of arts.

Bbs = Bachelor of business studies.

Bss = Bachelorof social science.

Bba = Bachelor of business administration.

Mba = Master of business administration.

Bcs = Bangladesh civil service.

Ma = Master of arts.

Bsc = Bachelor of science.

Msc = Master of science.

Bsc ag = Bachelor of science in agriculture.

Msc ag = Master of science in agriculture.

Mbbs = Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery.

Md = Doctor of medicine / managing director.

Ms = Master of surgery.

Phd/d phil = Doctor of philosophy ( arts and science )

D litt/litt = Doctor of literature  (doctors of letters).
